Liquid Intervals is a video–sound project that examines water as a perceptual and acoustic field. Informed by Husserl’s theory of internal time-consciousness and Merleau-Ponty’s account of embodied perception, the works foreground listening as a temporal and corporeal practice. Tidal movement, surface reflection, and acoustic return structure experiences of duration, delay, and suspension, emphasizing sound not as an accompanying element but as a primary mode through which time and space are sensed. Water operates as both medium and resonant surface, producing shifting intervals of perception rather than fixed points of orientation.
